SFC (Southern Fried Chicken)

Ingredients

[Marination items]

Chicken - 1 kg (mix of drumsticks and boneless)

Kashmiri chilli- 1 tbsp

Chilli powder- 1 tbsp

Pepper- 1 tsp

Ginger garlic- 1 tbsp 

Oregano- 1/4 tsp

Curd -1/2 cup

Salt (as needed)


[Coating mix]

I -  Eggs- 2 (beaten)

II - Flour- 1 cup 

Corn flakes-1/2 cup    

Rice flour- 2 tbsp    

Corn flour- 2 tbsp    

Salt - minimal    

Kashmiri chilli powder- 1 tbsp    

Pepper-1 tsp    

Vegetable/corn oil

Directions

1. Marinate the chicken with marination seasoning mentioned above for 2 to 3 hours.

2. Dip the marinated chicken into flour mix and beaten egg alternately (3 times in flour and 2 times in egg beaten)Fry the chicken in oil. 

3. Set the oil on low to medium flame and make sure that the chicken is cooked inside without burning.Your Southern Fried Chicken is ready and serve it with fresh salad. 

4. Compliment your dinner meal combo with a preferred dipping sauce.
